Lolita was orphaned when her mother was hunted and killed for bushmeat.  A wonderful campesino family adopted her, and we got her when she was about four months old.  We feel honored to be entrusted with her care until she's old enough to release, and hope she'll visit us with her own baby some day.
Lolita is a mommy (and daddy's) girl.  We affectionately call her "Coconut Head" (self-evident), and "The Hand" because her hand (and tail) are extended for anything within reach.
Lolita is about eighteen months old now.  She still sleeps in a cage in the house, and drinks a few bottles of Isomil, a soy infant formula, in the evening.  She spends her days in a cage next to Chiquito, and continues to grow as we watch!
