This is a "virtual" tour of our center, and a place to say Thank You to people who have made donations!

COMPLETED PROJECTS
SPIDER MONKEY CAGES
These cages have their own septic tank under the carport, electricity (for pressure washing), and water (for cleaning). Chiquito's cage is a large rectangle that takes up the full length and height of the structure. There are three sections to the remainder; a human cage in the middle, a small transfer area at the front corner, and Lolita's cage. The human cage and transfer cage are only two-thirds the total height, and Lolita's cage is open above them.
The cages will be connected to the pre-release areas by sky bridges in 2014.

FUTURE PRE-RELEASE AREAS
Coffee plants were removed in October 2011 on the right, and 2012 on the left. The lots were then naturalized with young trees that are preferred by wildlife. The "living fenceposts" holding the barbed wire will become trees, and the hibiscus flowers growing on the fence lines are a favorite monkey treat. The power lines were buried in February of 2014, and we plan to create pre-release areas surrounded by electrified fence later this year.
DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!!!
