We haven't had any precipitation since we got the monkeys, and I thought Lolita smelled a bit too horsey the past few days. She didn't seem to mind the warm "rain" shower, and while she appears to be saying "BLECH" in the last photo, I think she was just licking the fur I didn't towel-dry.

Michele Gawenka Jane Goodall has always been my hero, and working with primates an aspiration. Africa wasn't in the cards the summer I turned 16, when my parents offered to send me to volunteer, and there was only one class (in physical anthro-pology) when I wanted to study primatology in college.
