Every few months I decide Lolita smells a little horsey. It's not unpleasant, but normally neither of the monkeys has a body odor. So Lolita got her second shower today. No soap, just warm water...like getting caught in an afternoon downpour during the rainy season.

I LOVE Jane Goodall too! I got to take a class with her in Denver, Colorado and she was only two feet in front of me talking and all I could do was cry! She must have thought I was a crazy lady! I admire what you are doing. I just moved to Grecia, Costa Rica two weeks ago. Leave a Reply. |

Michele Gawenka Jane Goodall has always been my hero, and working with primates an aspiration. Africa wasn't in the cards the summer I turned 16, when my parents offered to send me to volunteer, and there was only one class (in physical anthro-pology) when I wanted to study primatology in college.
